Navigation that already knows your rig.
maRV is a navigation app for RVs, made for iPhone and Apple CarPlay. It isn't released yet.
The idea is a simple one: you should get to spend the drive looking at the road, not doing math about the next bridge.
The idea
Driving something big is one of the better ways to see the country. Most of the time it's a pleasure — right up until you're squinting at a clearance sign, or wondering whether the turn ahead is as tight as it looks.
Car navigation can't really help with that. It was built for cars, and for a car almost every road works out. maRV starts from your rig instead, so the route you're handed is one that fits.
Who it's for
Anyone driving something bigger than a car. Whether you live out here full time or get away a couple of weekends a year, you're who we're building for.
What you can count on
- Your rig, front and center. Set your height, weight, and length once. Every route after that is planned around them.
- Straight talk about the map. Road data isn't perfect anywhere. When something looks uncertain we'll tell you, so you can take a look for yourself rather than wonder.
- Calm while you're driving. Clear directions, plenty of notice before a turn, and nothing on screen that needs fiddling with at highway speed.
Who makes it
maRV is made by Half Moon Collective LLC, a small independent software company in Texas. We build tools for people who spend real time on the road, and maRV is our first.
It's developed and tested on real routes, in an actual rig. If something is awkward on a long drive, chances are we've run into it too.
Availability
